The E-Center for Cinema is a website dedicated to film in Minnesota. It brings together academics, resources, and activities in the Twin Cities arts community, to meet the needs of professionals, students, and anyone interested in the art of film. Hosted by the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota, the site also has special information for University of Minnesota film studies, in particular the undergraduate major in Studies in Cinema and Media Culture (SCMC). It provides further information on film studies in all the departments at the U, as well as the colleges and universities in the Twin Cities community. The E-Center is part historical/theoretical archive, part practical “how-to” site, part news resource, and part active community. As such, we also have a growing virtual community with a listserve option for those interested in continuous updates and discussions of film life in Minnesota. We hope you take part in and enjoy the vibrant and growing community of Minnesotan film.
